Keith Wall updated QPID-7978:
-----------------------------
    Priority: Minor (was: Major)

> [Java Broker] [AMQP 1-0] Protocol test cases outgoing transfer leak direct memory
> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: QPID-7978
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-7978
> Project: Qpid
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Java Broker, Java Tests
> Affects Versions: qpid-java-broker-7.0.0
> Reporter: Keith Wall
> Priority: Minor
>
> It was noticed during QPID-7832, that the protocol tests themselves were leaking direct memory. It is not impactful to the tests themselves, but creates false positives whilst looking for leaks elsewhere.
> When the {{Interaction}} orchestrates a {{Transfer}}. we currently fail to dispose of the QBBs beneath the original transfer itself. The copies - which go to the wire are disposed.
