line, spreadsheet
I have inserted a diagonal line in various boxes in the spreadsheet. When I print out the spreadsheet, the diagonal line are not there. The diagonal lines come from the drawing toolbar.

I assume that you mean Cells instead of Boxes.
What happen if you enter some data into the Cells, are they printed?
Is the Line within the defined print range?
