Apache 2.0.32 and current CVS compile error

im trying to compile Apache 2.0 with perchild and i get the following error.
perchild.c: In function `perchild_open_logs':
perchild.c:1437: `num_listensocks' undeclared (first use in this function)
perchild.c:1437: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
perchild.c:1437: for each function it appears in.)
perchild.c:1445: `pod' undeclared (first use in this function)

does anyone know how to fix this ?
