Summary: Compiling a Portlet app requires the Servlet API
Product: Commons
Version: unspecified
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: File Upload
AssignedTo: commons-dev@jakarta.apache.org
ReportedBy: martinc@apache.org
Reminder to self:
Compiling a Portlet app against FileUpload 1.1-dev requires that the Servlet
API be in the classpath. This is because PortletFileUpload extends FileUpload
which in turn extends FileUploadBase. For backwards compatibility reasons,
FileUploadBase still needs the Servlet API. We need to get the methods that
need the Servlet API out of the hierarchy for Portlets.
