Thanks for working on this. 

Looking at some updates from joes@apache.org, it seems like some work has already been completed such as the site content being moved. Also, I see https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf?p=tez.git is already present in addition to tez.apache.org being accessible. 

Is it safe to start using the new repo?

FYI, I added "tassapola" to the tez unix group as he was missing in that group. The output of list_committee.pl and list_unix_group.pl now match for tez.
