[jira] Resolved: (PIVOT-556) Add a tag

Greg Brown resolved PIVOT-556.
------------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed

Resolved. I ended up going with "<bxml:reference>" vs. "<bxml:label>". The implementation allows a caller to set properties on the source object, which is more consistent with the reference concept ("value" implies that the additional properties might only be applied to the "local" object, which isn't the case).

However, we try to avoid abbreviations in Pivot, so "reference" is preferable to "ref".

> This tag will support an "id" attribute specifying the name of a serializer-scoped variable. It will allow callers to dereference variables as elements (current, variable dereferencing is limited to attributes and script).
