   There's effectively a bug introduced in 0.12 that caused the training issue: the random initializers had to be changed which, which should be solved when the pull request is merged. In the meantime, 0.11 is safer! 
   
   I haven't encountered installation issues with DiagrammeR for a while, if you have a reproducible example please provide it so a fix can be made.
