[I] Upgrade Ωedit™ to v2.0.0 [daffodil-vscode]
scholarsmate opened a new issue, #1667:
URL: https://github.com/apache/daffodil-vscode/issues/1667
# Enhancement Request: Upgrade Ωedit™ to v2.0.0
## Summary
Upgrade Ωedit™ to v2.0.0, which now has a native gRPC server (C++) so there is no longer a JVM dependency for the Data Editor. Other benefits include improved performance and latency, more integration helper functions in the TS Client, Replace All now pushed from the TS Client into the core for faster transactional Search/Replace. Heartbeat no longer gives JVM stats (because there is no JVM anymore). Lifecycle management is now owned by the server rather than by the client. The server will exit gracefully once there are no active sessions remaining.
## Proposed Solution / Description
Upgrade the Ωedit™ dependency to v2.0.0, update the code to handle the server-side lifecycle management, update logging (since we're not using Java's logback), update the heartbeat handling code, use more of the TS Client helpers (which are well tested in Ωedit™) versus needing to write and maintain similar code for each integration.
