[PROPOSAL] - Graduation resolution
Hi all,
I've prepared the first draft of the graduation resolution.
One first doubt I have is if all the people listed in the Incubator page
[1] are still interested in being part of the Clerezza PMC.
Here's the first draft:
X. Establish the Apache Clerezza Project
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors deems it to be in the best
interests of the Foundation and consistent with the
Foundation's purpose to establish a Project Management
Committee charged with the creation and maintenance of
open-source software, for distribution at no charge to
the public, related to Apache Clerezza platform.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a Project Management
Committee (PMC), to be known as the "Apache Clerezza Project",
be and hereby is established pursuant to Bylaws of the
Foundation; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the Apache Clerezza Project be and hereby is
responsible for the creation and maintenance of software
related to an OSGi-based modular application and set of
components for building RESTFul Semantic Web applications and
services;
and be it further
RESOLVED, that the office of "Vice President, Apache Clerezza" be
and hereby is created, the person holding such office to
serve at the direction of the Board of Directors as the chair
of the Apache Clerezza Project, and to have primary responsibility
for management of the projects within the scope of
responsibility of the Apache Clerezza Project; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the persons listed immediately below be and
hereby are appointed to serve as the initial members of the
Apache Clerezza Project:

be appointed to the office of Vice President, Apache Clerezza, to
serve in accordance with and subject to the direction of the
Board of Directors and the Bylaws of the Foundation until
death, resignation, retirement, removal or disqualification,
or until a successor is appointed; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the initial Apache Clerezza PMC be and hereby is
tasked with the creation of a set of bylaws intended to
encourage open development and increased participation in the
Apache Clerezza Project; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the Apache Clerezza Project be and hereby
is tasked with the migration and rationalization of the Apache
Incubator Clerezza podling; and be it further
RESOLVED, that all responsibilities pertaining to the Apache
Incubator Clerezza podling encumbered upon the Apache Incubator
Project are hereafter discharged.

Thanks for creating the draft. I'm explicitely adding the committer we
haven't been hearing about for quite some time to the recipeients of this

Ok guys, I think we can safely drop Henry too.
I'll open the vote thread on the proposed draft with the updated PMC.

Michael (colleague of mine) said it's ok to remove him from the resolution
PMC.
Let's wait till end of the week to see if Henry will reply then I'll update
the draft and maybe we can start a vote.

As Reto CCed them explicitly in this thread, I'd say it's fine to omit
them from the graduation resolution if they don't reply within a few
days.
We can vote them back in easily, based on their previous
contributions, if they show up later.

Thank you for the first draft. Regarding the people listed on the incubator page: I think Manuel is not interested in contributing anymore. Haven't heard from him since 2010. I don' t know how to procede with inactive members.
What about Henry Story?
