RetriesExhaustedWithDetailsException: Failed N actions

I'm running Nutch in local mode with HBase 0.90.6 as my backend.
 Everything works fine on my local machine, but when I copy the setup to my
server I get RetriesExhaustedWithDetailsExceptions.  Everything is on the
localhost, not using a cluster.

Any ideas what to look at that would cause the difference?  Both machines
are running RHEL 6.
