failed to run installer 3.2 on my Mac OS Sierra
*I have problem on running Flex installer 3.2.0 on my Mac OS Sierra, After
installation and open it, the system log shows that it failed to rename a
file in a readonly folder, message as follow:*
renaming failed with this error: Error Domain=NSCocoaErrorDomain Code=642
"you can't save「Apache Flex SDK
Installer」，volume「4B486363-B090-4F61-8041-A0C076FE485A」is readonly。"

No luck, I run the installer app with sudo, different errors encountered:

It's a little annoying, but I was able to get it to load by going into the
installation path
/Applications/Apache Flex/
Then right-clicking > Show Package Contents
Then navigate to the executable and it will load:
/Contents/MacOS/Apache Flex SDK Installer

Did you find out what is the root problem?
How to make it work normal, at first run, without silent fails?

I recently had an issue running the installer on Sierra. It just failed
silently every time i ran it. To solve it, i right clicked on the Apache
Flex SDK Installer that was installed to Applications/Apache and then
selected 'Show Package Contents'. From there I browsed into MacOS directory
and just clicked on the installer in that directory and everything ran fine.

Thanks for answer. Did not try SDK installer app, my client reported same
error happened with other AIR app.
Does Sierra has minimal required AIR SDK version?

Hi,
The installer is working fine for me on Sierra 10.12.3 (normal user no sudo or anything).
Did you try right click and Open after installing?

In my case MyAIRApp installs ok on MacOS Sierra but doesn't run, app launch
fails, no GUI appears.
It runs ok if one "manually" expands app package and by running
Contents/MacOS/MyAIRApp script, and then you can see following log:

Same problem here, with another AIR app, on MacOS Sierra 10.12.3
Any solutions?
