cannot load mod_jk into server !

howdy ;

  after a successful configure including the option " -enable threads" ,
and install
  i try to start the apache but got the following error :

 Cannot load /osp/apache24/modules/mod_jk.so into server:
  dlopen: /osp/apache24/modules/mod_jk.so: symbol "__pthread_mutex_init"
unresolved

 has anyone an idea how to handle this ?

i just had the same problem.  i compiled mod_jk2.so on freebsd 4.7.

so, i don't know if this will be helpful or not.  i followed the 
instruction on this link and i was able to get it to work.  perhaps, it 
has similar problem as mod_jk.
