[jira] Created: (OPENJPA-1662) Type support has regressed in OpenJPA 2.0

Type support has regressed in OpenJPA 2.0
-----------------------------------------

                 Key: OPENJPA-1662
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENJPA-1662
             Project: OpenJPA
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: kernel
            Reporter: Pinaki Poddar
            Assignee: Pinaki Poddar
             Fix For: 2.0.1, 2.1.0

Type support has weakened in OpenJPA 2.0 for untyped relations.
The problem is seemingly that
a) Entity.class is not translated to PersistenceCapble class as parsing at all places
b) the stringfication of OpenJPA identifier is not properly bi-directional

Pinaki Poddar commented on OPENJPA-1662:
----------------------------------------

I remember fixing this one on trunk. It is an important one.

My commits (952893) had messed up though to OPENJPA-1686.
