[jira] [Resolved] (KAFKA-1613) Improve system test documentation

Ewen Cheslack-Postava resolved KAFKA-1613.

    Resolution: Won't Fix
Assignee: Ewen Cheslack-Postava (was: Gwen Shapira)

This refers to the old system test framework. New ducktape based tests could probably use improved docs, but have usable README and we can follow a JIRA with specific complaints if someone thinks it needs improvements.

> Few things to improve the docs:
> 1. Include python pre-requisites (matplotlib for example) and instructions how to install them.
> 2. The README needs some cleanup, and reference to the wiki. For example, I'm pretty sure system tests works with OS X.
> 3. Extra documentation about metrics and charts - they seem missing in action
> 4. Extra documentation about the cluster config - when to touch it, when not to, why we have different levels, etc. Maybe example of cluster_conf.json configured to run with remote hosts.
