Integrated Logging

Hello there,
I am a new bee to Tomacat and Velocity and I am trying to integrate the
two logging systems into a single tomcat.log file. The online docs is
short and I was hopping that maybe I could find some answers here. Can
any one help me out? I need a comprehensive (take my hand and walk me
through it) guide.
