karmasphere/hbase

Hi,

I'm new to hadoop and hbase. I was wondering if could tell me if hbase
can be easily integrated with Karmasphere for Hadoop. My application is
classification of unstructured text files.

Thanks

Brian

Yes, Shevek is our guy with big shoes :)
As pointed out, we don't have explicit hbase support today.

If there are particular requests for hbase capabilities, we'd love to hear them.

Yes +1, keep on doing it if you wouldn't be so kind?

Ah, Shevek, yes, that was the name. I remember his big shoes, but couldn't recall the name.
I only did the editing part, so I can't take a ton of credit for that HBase Digest post, but I'll pass your message to the main author!

I tried to get Shevek to answer the below question. He isn't to up on
hbase so he wasn't sure what it would take making it work.

St.Ack
@Otis, if you had anything to do w/ the sweet summary of the hbase
mailing list, http://blog.sematext.com/2010/01/27/hbase-digest-january-2010/,
thanks. Otherwise, please forward our thanks on to whoever
responsible.

I was at the Hadoop World where I saw the Karmasphere presentation, but there was no mention of HBase there.

Judging from http://search-hadoop.com/?q=%2BKarmasphere+%2Bhbase , people are not using Karmasphere with HBase.
