i have problem with office 3.2

Hello;
my open office 3.2 which I downloaded in 2010 , crashed and I can not open up my files or folders. 
Also I lost my seplling ability with open office 3.2.
I downloaded open office 4.1 , but it does not show on my list of icons? did I lose my old info on open office 3.2?
