   oh I see. we might have too ask for support w/ athena only. read optimized won't give you latest updates. If you want to see full snapshot, there is a workaround, but incurs additional step. You can trigger compaction which will compact all delta commits to base commit files and then if you run your query, it should work. 
   @bvaradar : any other thoughts here.
