[jira] [Commented] (SHIRO-289) Support default AssymetricCipherService

Les Hazlewood commented on SHIRO-289:

Hi Maria,

Is there a particular reason for using ECB mode for the RSACipherService implementation? This is generally considered an insecure Cipher Mode of Operation. Thoughts?

> Currently there is no out-of-the-box implementation for assyemtric crypto (e.g. RSA). This has been low priority for the Shiro dev team since Shiro itself doesn't use it (only symmetric ciphers). This should be implemented to make life easier for end users that require assymetric cipher.
