disable auto indexing in tomcat 4.1.24

Is there a way to disable the autoindex feature in tomcat so that if a 
user requests

http://somwhere.com/something

and something matches a directory name but does NOT have an index.jsp 
file in it, it does not display the auto genereated directory index page?
