SGML Parsing

Hi all,

I'm not sure using the right mailing list to post this question.
I'm using Xerces J 1.2.3 to parse simples XML documents without validation 
fonctionnality. I would like to know if I could also parse SGML files with 
Xerces. If this is not the case, can anyone give me a means to parse SGML 
documents without validation with a DTD?
