axis2-maven-tools and maven repository

Hi,

I just tried the axis2-maven-tools and was surpised to see maven get
jars from http://repo1.maven.org/maven/ (maven 1 legacy repository).

The axis2-maven-tools POM declares this repository, and this is IMHO not
a good idea for two reasons :

- a maven1 legacy repository does not have m2 meta-datas,

- http://repo1.maven.org/maven/ is an apache mod_rewrite to
http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/ (official default maven repo), so adding
this repository should have NO EFFECT on available dependencies.

But maybe I missed something ?

Nico.
