[jira] [Commented] (AIRAVATA-3234) BUG: When an input is defined with URI_COLLECTION and Required 'False' in Django the experiment fails in the PGA

Marcus Christie commented on AIRAVATA-3234:
-------------------------------------------

The PGA never implemented support for URI_COLLECTION. It's possible to copy this from the optional file upload code, but it won't be a trivial effort to implement and test. We should prioritize this one.

> 1. In SEAGrid Django portal Gaussian16 application has an input with URI_COLLECTION and Required set to False.
> 2. When creating an experiment using this application in the PGA user is prompted with error message "Input data type not supported! Please file a bug report using the link in the Help menu."
> 3. The experiment still can be launched but its not moving forward, stuck in CREATED with no errors or failures.
> 4. Second time launched the application with an optional file upload in PGA, still it didn't move forward from CREATED.
