That's basically what I did, and aoo-w7snap did build but failed while
uploading the files afterwards with some file in use error, possibly
because aoo-win7 was building at the same time.

I have patched the SNAPSHOT build script to overwrite bootstrap.1 and the
relevant solenv Perl files with versions from trunk, add the Java
downloader, and inline-patch the older apr that also hangs DEVENV on the
buildbots. It did build but failed on an upload step after the build.

I join the general rejoicing about having working Windows builbots.

And don't worry about SNAPSHOT: SNAPSHOT is a tag, see
https://svn.apache.org/viewvc/openoffice/tags/
but is meant to be updated; so for example I (or you can do it) can
remove it and make it point at the AOO4121 tag.

Still, this won't probably build since it will miss the new Java
downloader (but again, this is the fault of the buildbot, not of the
code), so you may want to work around it. But I wouldn't use the
snapshot buildbot to build a release as it is now: a failed build can
definitely be acceptable for the moment, and hopefully SNAPSHOT can soon
be moved to trunk.

Regards,
   Andrea.

The build script could spam an updated copy of bootsrap over the one
that was checked out from svn.

2 successful aoo-win7 builds in a row, so I think it's safe to conclude it
works now :-).

The build script still needs a bit of cleaning up, and we need to fix the
snapshot buildbots. But how? Can we just randomly merge patches to that
branch?
