Help : Compiling Xercesc in sparc soalris 2.6
I am trying to compile Xerces-c-1-2 in sparc solaris 2.6 with gcc2.95.2.
After unzipping the source files I ran the configure as
./runConfigure -psolaris -cgcc -xg++ -minmem -nfileonly -tnative
then when I gave make it got stopped in the middle complaing the following
error
g++ -fPIC -instances=static -DSOLARIS -D_REENTRANT -c -O
-DXML_USE_NATIVE_TRANSC
ODER -DXML_USE_INMEM_MESSAGELOADER
-I/usr/syamala/Xerces/xerces-c-src_1_2_0/s
rc/include -o
/usr/syamala/Xerces/xerces-c-src_1_2_0/src/obj/SOLARIS/SimpleCont
entModel.o SimpleContentModel.cpp
make[1]: Leaving directory
`/usr/syamala/xerces-c-src_1_2_0/src/validators/DTD'
Building /usr/syamala/Xerces/xerces-c-src_1_2_0/src/lib/libxerces-c1_2

use gmake.

I don't know if this will help, but if Xerces-c-1-4 will
work for you, I have had success compiling it on Solaris 2.7
with gcc 2.95.2.
