Maven with C++ projects

Hi guys, I work with Maven2 and Continuum and it's very nice tools , but now I need work with C and C++ projects. 
How can work with C++ project in to maven2 projects. What the POM structure and how can use nar plugin? Can I use the report same java report, for example, documentation, changelog... ?
Please send me a feedback.
