Would regressions in handling proxy exceptions be considered a show 
stopper?
I haven't filed a bug report yet since I reported the issue on the
users list with absolutely no response yet...

The http-proxy-exceptions setting isn't implemented yet in ra_serf,
please log an issue on the libsvn_ra_serf library.

I'd like to think so: I think Serf should be a reasonable alternative
for the largest part of our user base, including those with LDAP
authentication (solved) and proxies (aparently not completely solved).
