can't execute patch task

I found that patch task can't be executed when using
jakarta-ant-1.5Beta.

1. Let prepare two file da/test and db/test.

-----start da/test
this is patch test
-----end da/test

-----start db/test
this is patch test.

this is test for ant.
-----end db/test

2. And make patch file with diff

$ diff da/test db/test > testpatch

-----start testpatch
1c1,3
< this is patch test
---
> this is patch test.
> 
> this is added by ant.
-----end testpatch

3. prepare build.xml file like this: 

-----start build.xml
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<project name="patchtest" default="all" basedir="." >
  <target name="all">
     <patch patchfile="${basedir}/testpatch"
         originalfile="${basedir}/da/test" />
  </target>
</project>
-----end build.xml

4. Before executing ant, let check ANT_HOME and PATH

ANT_HOME=/usr/java/jakarta-ant-1.5Beta1
PATH=/usr/java/jakarta-ant-1.5Beta1/bin/:\
/usr/java/jdk1.3.1_02/bin/:/bin:/usr/local/bin/:\
/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/home/hiroki/bin/

5. execute ant. then it shows BUILD FAILED message.

Buildfile: build.xml

all:

BUILD FAILED
/home/hiroki/patchtest/build.xml:5: Unable to execute command

Total time: 1 second
