*Background*

During high volume data ingestions to Atlas the transactions performance becomes is critical factor in contributing to overall performance of the operation.

Operations like Import and data ingestion via hooks are the ones affected by transaction performance.

*Approach*

JanusGraph [documentation|http://docs.janusgraph.org/latest/config-ref.html#_cache] lists specific options for this. If these are applied by default will performance of transaction commits.
