Adobe OO for Linux...?

Is there an AOO distribution for Linux, specifically for Mageia 7?

Hello Martin,

I haven't installed the RPM package. However on the Apache OpenOffice
website I found these instructions for RPM install.
https://www.openoffice.org/download/common/instructions.html#linux-rpm

Seems you need to:
navigate to the directory the RPMs were extracted to
su to root
issue the command rpm -Uvih *rpm
there's a few other steps for shell integration

Been a while since I installed my DEB version but, if I recall correctly,
it was the same process. Extract, use a wildcard to indicate all DEBs,
*deb. That install is working just fine.

Thanks for the suggestions as to where to download Apache OpenOffice
X_64 for Linux Mageia (RPM version). I got a GZ file which I unzipped
into a folder that contained a gazillion rpm files. I don't know what to
do next. Should I ask this on a Mageia forum?

Robert, All,

As soon as I had clicked send I realized that I had misspelled Adobe!

Mageia uses RPM. I will try your suggested site. Thanks.

I guess you mean Apache OO.

Have you looked at http://www.openoffice.org/download/ ?
There are 2 flavours of packages for Linux, Deb and RPM. Mageia seems
to use RPM?
