[Slides] Quantum Processes in Graph Computing
Hello,
I just finished presenting "Quantum Processes in Graph Computing" at GraphDay in Austin, Texas (http://graphday.com/). If you were interested in the associated article "Quantum Walks with Gremlin" (http://arxiv.org/abs/1511.06278) but were unable to fully understand the ideas, hopefully the slideshow below will fill in the gaps with its very visual approach to explaining quantum mechanics and graphs.

Enjoy,
Marko.

Hi Marko,
Nice to read some physics over here. I wonder, would there also be an
analogy for entangled traversers in an OLAP setup?
Greetings, Marc

Hello,
The GraphDay people just published the video of my talk for those that are interested.
*** Note that its hard to see the detail on various slides. Following along via Slideshare is useful: http://www.slideshare.net/slidarko/quantum-processes-in-graph-computing

I hope you get excited about these ideas. Personally, I'm really glad I spent an honest effort understanding the mathematics/computations of quantum mechanics. Its a very cool domain in that it touches physics, computing, metaphysics, and philosophy. There are lots of great books and articles out there and having the baseline knowledge presented in the talk allows me to follow the developments of the space and hopefully, contribute to it.
Take care,
Marko.
