[jira] [Created] (ACCUMULO-824) Tweak the rc.d levels to have tserver come up before tracers

John Vines created ACCUMULO-824:
-----------------------------------

Summary: Tweak the rc.d levels to have tserver come up before tracers
                 Key: ACCUMULO-824
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-824
             Project: Accumulo
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: scripts
    Affects Versions: 1.4.2
            Reporter: John Vines
            Assignee: John Vines
            Priority: Trivial
             Fix For: 1.5.0, 1.4.3

The scripts we provide for setting rc.d levels have the tracers and tservers starting at the same time. This can result in a warning about tservers not being available. It's a trivial warning, but I'd really like it if we can bring up an instance with a truly clean slate.

These scripts are in (src/)assemble/platform/debian. The RPMs are built by maven, but they haven't been given any real loving in the last year or 2, so good luck with them in their current form. I do plan on improving them once I get the debs solidified.

Where are the scripts located and where is the code to develop the packaging (the RPM)?
