   This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage (HUDI-8797).
   
   **Findings: the linked PR has not merged; keeping this open.**
   
   PR #12546 (`[HUDI-8797] Fix the potential filesystem connection leak`) is still **open and unmerged**, so nothing has landed. Where the `status:pr-available` label is present it is accurate and should stay.
   
   Keeping this open until it merges.
