[jira] [Updated] (OOZIE-68) GH-22: Add Hive action
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OOZIE-68?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Alejandro Abdelnur updated OOZIE-68:
------------------------------------
Attachment: OOZIE-68v1.patch
[cannot submit a RR because it depends on OOZIE-610 which is not committed yet]
v1 patch, works on top of OOZIE-610.
It uses Apache Hive 0.9.0-SNAPSHOTS artifacts (currently it is the only version of Apache Hive publishing artifacts to the Maven repo).
Due to a conflict between Pig 0.9.0 and Hive 0.9.0 dependencies (explained in OOZIE-610) it is not possible to run in the same build Pig and HIve testcases. Because of this, there is a testHive profile to run just the Hive testcases.
I've build/isntalled Oozie and run the examples to verify things work as expected.
