How to create an XML File

XSP logicsheets for taglib authorsHello, 

I'd like to know if it is possible to save the xml content created using cocoon in an xml file instead of sending it to the browser client ? 
I'm using cocoon to get user information from an ldap directory and would like to save the result in an xml file. Is this possible?
