Are you planning to work on this feature or is this a missing feature / feature request ticket?

There are some planned improvements for the datacenter / location stuff in trunk, but in general I'm not a big fan of performing API requests / long running tasks in the class constructor so I would like to avoid that / find a different solution for this specific scenario.
