keytool problem

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

Hi there,

got some problems with generating the keystore for use with tomcat
(j2sdk1.4.1_02, rh7.3). The "$JAVA_HOME/bin/keytool -v -genkey -alias tomcat
- -keyalg RSA" just hangs after filling out all the stuff and nothing is
happen. no keystore-file. top shows 0,0% in CPU and the typical 1,3% in MEM
for some keytool-PIDs and that's all.

Tried the J2SDK1.4.0_01 too. Same result.

On another machine with nearly the same configuration there is no problem
generating the keystore. Listing this file on the above machine is no
problem. Listing the cacerts too. Just generating hangs.

Any ideas are welcome.

bye
NiKa
