[jira] Resolved: (INFRA-1318) set up rsync on people.apache.org to retrieve builds from vmbuild1.apache.org

Brett Porter resolved INFRA-1318.

    Resolution: Won't Fix

seems the pattern is to sync them directly into maven central from the machine, and to host snapshots on the machine, and limit the amount of access people have to that.

> Projects on vmbuild1 will publish their builds to their own snapshot repository (Maven) or "nightly" build location (Maven/Ant/etc). For consistency with the current set up, we will sync these directories to people.apache.org under the project's subdirectory.
> This sync should include the --delete option, making the vmbuild1 content the canonical set for a project.
> At present, no projects have set up their repository - this issue is a placeholder for getting it done once in place on vmbuild1.
