While trying to reproduce this locally, running
{noformat}
stress-ng --cpu=100 --io 20 --vm 20 --fork 100 --timeout 3600s &
GLOG_v=1 src/mesos-tests --verbose --gtest_filter=*RetryRpcWithExponentialBackoff --gtest_repeat=-1 --gtest_break_on_failure
{noformat}
this crashes in a similar manner as reported in MESOS-9712. Log: [^RetryRpcWithExponentialBackoff-segfault.txt]
