three bugs in the FAQ
The newPropertyHandlerMapping function on
this page of the FAQ:
http://ws.apache.org/xmlrpc/faq.html#client_ip
has three bugs in it:
1. The RequestSpecificProcessorFactoryFactory class
is calling a function of "super" even though it does
not extend anything
2. the proc.init function is taking a param of the
wrong type
3. the second to last line should take "factory" as a
paramater, not "mapping" (this is just a typo)
I can't figure out how to fix the first two bugs. Can
anybody tell me what the code was supposed to say?
In case you need it, I copy/pasted the code from the
FAQ into a set of files that actually compile (besides
these three bugs, of course) as long as you have the
xmlrpc and javax.servlet jars are in your classpath.
You can find the code here:
http://www.geocities.com/kaminw/xmlrpcTest.tgz
Thanks for you help!
Kamin
