Jenkins spews out stdout files to temp

Every day, sometimes more than once a day ,we get
stdoutxxxxxxxxxxxxxdeferred files logged to appdata\local\temp\1

Contents of which are :

0123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345
67890123456789
 0-2-3-6-8-
...

etc

all are around 192MB each, but enough gathered up to fill out 45GB on the
C:\ drive, causing the recent out of disk space error.

?

Or, perhaps Jenkins itself can be made to stop these. (Olamy ??)
