Tomcat and Apache weird problems
Hi!
I've been experiencing some problems with Apache 2.0.48 and Tomcat 3.2.4. I
know it's a bit old, but i'm in charge of this now and the website is not
mine, so I can't drop the service. For the last week or so our log files are
filled up with this kind of errors:

[Thu Dec 22 22:29:02 2005] [error] jk2_init() Can't find child 24168 in none
of the 256 scoreboard slots
[Thu Dec 22 22:29:02 2005] [error] jk2_init() Can't find child 24177 in none
of the 256 scoreboard slots

of the 256 scoreboard slots
[... A lot of them ...]

of the 256 scoreboard slots
[... Here Apache stops acepting requests ...]
[Thu Dec 22 22:29:07 2005] [error] server reached MaxClients setting, consider
raising the MaxClients setting
[Thu Dec 22 23:00:01 2005] [notice] httplog: SIGTERM received. Flushing
buffers and exiting
[Thu Dec 22 23:00:01 2005] [notice] httplog: SIGTERM received. Flushing
buffers and exiting

So we can wait some time or restart the Apache to recover the "normal" status,
I'm completely disoriented, I've been googling around and didn't find a clue.

Check to see if there were any changes recently made - It seems odd that an
Apache 2xx is hooked to a Tomcat 3xx, there can be mod_jk2 issues.
How long has the configuration existed as described?
