Commons HttpClient is looking for some feedback on it's new 3.0 API. As
a current user of HttpClient 2.0 we would like to hear what you have to
say. If you are interested please have a look at the new 3.0 API
<http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/httpclient/3.0/index.html> and post
any questions/suggestions/criticisms to
<co...@jakarta.apache.org>
Noteworthy enhancements include:
* New preference architecture
* Granular non-standards configuration and tracking
http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/httpclient/3.0/preference-api.html
* Improved exception handling framework
http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/httpclient/3.0/exception-handling.html
* Plug-in mechanism for authentication modules
* Improved authentication framework
http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/httpclient/3.0/authentication.html
* Cookie specification plug-in mechanism

We are looking at the API freeze in four to six week time. Your feedback
would be greatly appreciated
