As Otis pointed out, this can be fixed by setMaxClauseCount(). It was 
introduced to avoid OutOfMemoryErrors, which are much worse. Please re-open 
this bug if the setMaxClauseCount() did not help. BTW, the rewrite is AFAIK  
needed even for finding the results, it has nothing to do with weighting.
