Adding an extension for shared_memory

Hi,

I would like to add an extension to support transport over a shared memory.
Is there a documentation or guide available to help me?

I would probably also write an TLV format transport protocol.

Thanks,
Shiva

I'll add a JIRA for this.

[SCA Native] Re: Adding an extension for shared_memory

Posted by Shivakumar Balasubramanyam <sh...@gmail.com>.
Hi,

I appreciate the quick responses and I apologize for not being clear that I
intended to get info for SCA Native.

I did look at the Java pages to get an idea of adding an extension, but it
seems different from SCA Native model (atleast class names).

I also noticed that the bindings were not consistent with each other (among
cpp,rest,ws,etc)

Thanks,
Shiva

The page has been updated to point to the latest version of the PPT and PDF.
Ideally, we should convert the PPT into a wiki page.

Thanks,

Raymond,
Is this incorproated into the wiki page for extension development[1]. If
not, should this replace that to avoid confusion?

Good to hear about your interest in extending Tuscany. You could start
with our "SCA Java Extension Development Guide" [1] and use our
samples/binding-echo-extension, samples/implementation-crud-extension
and samples/implementation-pojo-extension.

Once you are ready, I could help by setting up a skeleton project that
could help you provide patches.
