[jira] [Created] (INFRA-12120) Beam JIRA: make Fix Versions
required when resolving / closing issues
Davor Bonaci created INFRA-12120:
------------------------------------
Summary: Beam JIRA: make Fix Versions required when resolving / closing issues
Key: INFRA-12120
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-12120
Project: Infrastructure
Issue Type: Task
Components: JIRA
Reporter: Davor Bonaci
Would it be possible to mark Fix Versions field in the Apache Beam JIRA mandatory, when any issue is resolved or closed?
This could be very useful process-wise for generating release notes and similar reports, as well as tracking progress against a release.
Separately, is it possible to enable editing of closed issues very temporarily (e.g., a few hours). I'd like to do a bulk edit to versioning fields of old/closed issues? As soon as this is done, we should revert back.
