Bintray Deprecation - 1st May

Hi All,

This email is sent to the public builds@ mailing list and separately
distributed amongst all PMC private lists and the private users@infra
mailing list.

As per the blog post :-

https://jfrog.com/blog/into-the-sunset-bintray-jcenter-gocenter-and-chartcenter/

Bintray is going away this Saturday. We have been working hard in the
background
to migrate all those projects hosting artifacts/packages on Bintray to the
donated
by JFrog Artifactory instance at apache.jfrog.io , all Committers of those
migrated
artifacts/packages should be able to use their LDAP credentials to login
and
manage them going forward. Any questions can be directed to the users@infra
list
or the public builds@ mailing list or via slack to the #builds or #asfinfra
channels.

Projects should ensure to update their code, dependencies and documentation
to
point to the new location.

Your project may not host in Bintray themselves, but may rely on Bintray
for downloading
of 3rd party dependencies in their code and/or CI workflows. Projects
should investigate
if the 3rd party has moved to Artifactory, Maven Central or elsewhere.

A quick search of Github under the 'apache' org reveals 352 lines of code
from various
Apache projects mentioning 'bintray' in their code.

https://github.com/search?q=org%3Aapache+bintray&type=code

You should check if your project is referencing bintray and update it.

Any questions or help needed please reach out.
