[jira] [Commented] (SOLR-9012) SolrJ JDBC - Ensure that an
ODBC-JDBC bridge works with SolrJ JDBC

Kevin Risden commented on SOLR-9012:
------------------------------------
So great news with the OpenLink ODBC-JDBC bridge. This works as expected on Mac and on Windows there is only a slight issue that I think is the bridge itself (have a ticket open with OpenLink about it). The ODBC-JDBC bridge works just need the remaining items like "select *" to be supported.

> There are a few ODBC-JDBC bridges out there. This is useful to be able to hook up tools like Tableau to work with Solr. The ODBC-JDBC bridge will require supporting Java 8.
