[jira] [Created] (AVRO-3270) Identifier 'uuid' not possible
Hans-Peter Werner created AVRO-3270:
---------------------------------------
Summary: Identifier 'uuid' not possible
Key: AVRO-3270
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AVRO-3270
Project: Apache Avro
Issue Type: Bug
Components: compatibility
Affects Versions: 1.11.0
Environment: * Linux
* Java
* IDL
Reporter: Hans-Peter Werner
When using 'uuid' as a fieldname in an IDL it must be escaped since uuid became a reserved word, but escaping with backticks does not work.
{noformat}
Encountered " "uuid" "uuid "" at line 6, column 12. Was expecting one of: <IDENTIFIER> ... "@" ... "`" ...{noformat}
