[PR] docs: tell contributors to run prek install [magpie-site]
potiuk opened a new pull request, #166:
URL: https://github.com/apache/magpie-site/pull/166
The lint job runs `prek run --all-files`, but nothing told a contributor to put
that same gate in front of their own commits — so the hooks only ever ran after
a push. Two hygiene failures reached `main` that way (#165).
Adds a `prek install` bullet to AGENTS.md's Local setup, next to `npm install`.
It also documents the case that bit me: with a global `core.hooksPath` set, git
ignores this repo's `.git/hooks/`, and plain `prek install` refuses rather than
installing a shim git would never read. The working form there is
prek install --force --git-dir "$(git rev-parse --git-common-dir)"
with a global hook that chains through to the repo-local one.
## Verification
The bullet's own instructions, run in this checkout: the hooks install, and the
commit on this branch was gated by them — all 14 hooks reported before it was
written.
